We arrived after sunset and could not find reception as the only sign that was lit up was for a closed venue. Stuff got tricky when the receptionist's instructions sent us wandering in the gloom, and without a handy map, we could easily imagine future guests facing the same adventure. A shame, as the ambiance is truly magical once you settle in.

However, arrival logistics were cumbersome, as the check-in process was unclear and split between multiple locations. The room itself was small and lacked basic amenities like a coffee/tea service, and safety features were surprisingly limited, which diminished the comfort level.

It was just a smart choice for a short weekend trip in Mont-Saint-Michel with outstanding value. The breakfast had a decent selection despite being crowded and the food quality was okay. Make sure to check in at a different location to avoid confusion.
